The Tax Wallet service: what you need to know Printable version
Last update: 20.11.2024When paying tax, a taxpayer must provide four of the more than one thousand details required - BCC, PPC, BIN of the benificiary and the amount. Failure to declare any of these can lead to incorrect crediting of payments to the budget and, consequently, to fines and penalties.
The Tax Wallet service has been launched to simplify the process of paying taxes for individuals and individual entrepreneurs. The article explains how the service differs from existing services.
What is Tax Wallet?
Tax Wallet is a service for accepting and processing payments from a single bank account, with the possibility of making automatic payments online without the taxpayer's request. The Tax Wallet mechanism allows payments to be automatically made to the budget.
Individuals and individual entrepreneurs have an alternative capability for tax payment by replenishing the Tax Wallet.
The service provides taxpayers with information about their current and upcoming obligations to the budget. Money from the Tax Wallet is automatically credited to the relevant taxes for which tax obligations arose when submitting declarations, calculations, and information from authorized bodies.
The Tax Wallet service is implemented in the eSalyq mobile application, developed by the State Revenue Committee and available in the App Store and Play Market.
The following is required to access the service:
- registration in eSalyq app using digital signature;
- registration in eSalyq app using SMS-code, if a user is registered in the Mobile Citizens Database;

settings using IIN and password.
Capabilities of the "Tax Wallet" service:
- alternative tax payment option;
- automated distribution of payments to the budget;
- provision of information on current and upcoming obligations to the budget;
- notifications of tax write-offs;
- saved history of payments and replenishments.
The following was implemented for convenience:
- facilitated authorization using SMS password;
- facilitated tax payment through binding a Halyk Bank card and payment transfer to Kaspi.kz;
- display of payments history from all the services;
- reduction of information update period up to 2 minutes;
- viewing of data on taxable items;
- refund to unified payment details of Tax Wallet;
- payment for taxes and social transfers in “Information on debts” service;

submission of application for credit and refund of taxes from the budget in “Overpayment Management” service.
The Tax Wallet service is designed to automatically repay debts and upcoming payments for tax payments only. At the same time, the tax payment details are filled in automatically, without the taxpayer having to do so, which guarantees their delivery.
The Tax Wallet is automatically replenished through the following details:
Beneficiary's name: State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Beneficiary's bank name: Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Refunds from the Tax Wallet service are made based on a taxpayer's tax application submitted through the "Overpayment Management" service in the Tax Wallet, as well as through egov.kz or the Taxpayer's Account web application.
No commission is charged on taxes paid through the Tax Wallet.
