National Information Technologies JSC (NITEC) informs that on October 1, 2024, users of the eGov Mobile application received a message from 1414 on receiving a digital voucher for free school meals. The newsletter is initiated by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The message contained the following text: "Your child is entitled to free school meals. You need to register in the eGov Mobile app to receive the digital voucher. Registration link: https://egovmobilekz.page.link/AVaF Section: "Social Wallet".

The link in the message will take you to the Social Wallet service in the eGov Mobile application. The user will be re-directed to the app stores to download and install the eGov Mobile application if it is not pre-installed.

However, some users have received information via messengers that this newsletter is fraudulent and will lead to the blocking of banking applications. In view of the above, we would like to emphasize that distribution of the message is reliable and ask users not to reply to false messages or spread unverified information.

All official information about the activities of the e-Government portal and the eGov Mobile application is published in official sources, i.e. on the eGov.kz and nitec.kz websites.
