- Application form for candidates wishing to participate in the competition for the Bolashak international scholarship.
- Electronic copy of the employer’s application for the training of a specialist with the condition of retaining the workplace, in the format specified in Appendix 3 to the Rules for the provision of the public service "Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for the award of the Bolashak international scholarship, for participation in the competition of applicants applying under the categories of applicants for internships and applicants for a master’s degree, who, at the time of submission of documents for participation in the competitive selection, are civil servants (excluding political civil servants)".
- Electronic copy of a state-issued educational document with transcript on general secondary education, or technical and vocational education, or post-secondary education, for applicants for a bachelor’s degree.
- Electronic copy of a first-, second-, or third-degree diploma obtained within the last three years from international Olympiads in general education subjects, international scientific project competitions, and international performance competitions, the list of which is determined by the Republican Commission for Training Personnel Abroad, provided that the chosen field of study corresponds to the subject of the Olympiad or competition, for applicants for a bachelor’s degree.
- Electronic copy of the notarized consent of the legal representative (parent(s), adoptive parent(s), guardian or custodian, foster parent(s), patronage caregiver, and other persons substituting them who, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provide care, education, upbringing, and protection of the rights and interests of the child) of the applicant for study abroad (for persons under 18 years of age).
- Electronic copy of a bachelor’s or specialist’s diploma with transcript, and, in the case of studying at a foreign educational institution, a certificate of recognition of the educational document or another document confirming recognition of the educational document, taking into account the specifics established by paragraph 8 of Article 39 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘On Education,’ or an electronic document obtained from the Digital Documents service.
- Electronic copies of documents confirming employment history, as well as a statement on mandatory pension contributions for the required period of employment, for participation in the competition of applicants, or an electronic document obtained from the Digital Documents service, for applicants from rural settlements, engineering and technical workers, and medical workers applying for a master’s degree, for applicants for a master’s degree who, at the time of submission of documents for participation in the competitive selection, are civil servants (excluding political civil servants), and for applicants applying under the category of internship.
- Electronic copy of a valid official certificate in the prescribed form confirming the passing of a foreign language exam with a result meeting the established minimum requirements, approved by Order No. 318 of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of May 22, 2015 ‘On certain measures for the implementation of the Bolashak international scholarship’ (registered in the State Register of Normative Legal Acts under No. 11258) (hereinafter – Order No. 318).
- Electronic copy of a valid official certificate in the prescribed form confirming the passing of the Kazakh language exam with a result meeting the established minimum requirements approved by Order No. 318.
- Electronic copy of a medical certificate on health status in the form established by the authorized body in the field of healthcare, for persons traveling abroad.
- Electronic copies of documents confirming unconditional admission to academic studies (excluding financial conditions), indicating the program, specialty, and period of study, with notarized translations into the state or Russian languages, except for applicants from rural settlements, engineering and technical workers, medical workers, and applicants for a master’s degree who, at the time of submission of documents for participation in the competitive selection, are civil servants (excluding political civil servants).
- Electronic copy of an official academic transcript issued by a foreign higher education institution/certificate in the prescribed form indicating the field of study, course (year of study), information on the grading system used at the institution, as well as the current grade point average at the institution, with notarized translations into the state or Russian language, if available, for persons pursuing academic studies at leading foreign higher education institutions included in the List of leading foreign higher education institutions and foreign organizations recommended for studies and language courses by the winners of the competition (hereinafter – the List).
- Electronic copies of documents confirming the applicant’s admission to academic studies on a gratuitous basis provided by a leading foreign higher education institution included in the List, as well as by other foreign and/or Kazakhstani organizations, with full coverage of expenses including tuition fees for the entire period of academic studies, with notarized translations into the state or Russian language, if available.
- Electronic copy of the individual study plan, approved by a leading foreign higher education institution included in the List and not exceeding the time limits established by that institution, for the pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Profile degree, with notarized translations into the state or Russian languages.
- Electronic copy of a motivation letter.
- Persons applying under the internship category shall submit electronic copies of documents confirming an unconditional invitation (excluding financial conditions) from the host foreign organization for the internship, indicating the specialty selected from the List, the duration, the cost (with a breakdown of calculations) of the internship, with notarized translations into the state or Russian languages.
- Persons applying under the internship category shall submit an electronic copy of the internship program prepared in accordance with the requirements approved by Order No. 318 and approved by both the sending and the host organizations.
- Information on the place of residence of an applicant from a rural settlement, obtained by the service provider from the relevant state information systems and databases.
The service provider obtains the applicant’s identity document, documents confirming employment history, a statement on mandatory pension contributions, and information on the place of residence of an applicant from a rural settlement from the relevant state information systems through the e-Government Gateway.
Service providers get digital documents from the Digital Documents service through the implemented integration subject to the consent of a document owner provided via a phone number registered on the e-Gov portal by indicating a one-time password or sending a short text message in response to the e-Gov portal notification.
